| i can't believe that it's been nearly 4 months since i've written here. at the request of my aunt laurie, who knows about my daily life by reading this, i will update.
a lot has changed since june 30th. griffin's parents have long since gone, and we survived the hot month of july mostly by playing outside with the hose and the puppy.
july 27 marked our trip home. it had been 4 months since i had been home, and nearly 7 for griffin. it was a long two weeks, filled with family, friends, parties, fun, and ofcourse drama. but honestly, in the last year, no trip home hasn't been filled with drama. my bridal shower was really nice. my friends did a really great job and my two weeks at home were rather enjoyable.
when last we left i was supposed to be heading for paris, but since then plans have changed. money and other things have put my paris trip on hold, and now i have just transferred to umuc, and am starting class on monday as an italian/history major. i'm really excited. and griffin is started classes too!
one of our closest friends has left england, but thankfully we have gained many new friends. and we're both doing really well here and are quite happy. we're getting ready for halloween on tuesday. i've decorated the house, carved the pumpkins, and bought the candy for the trick-or-treaters. and rocky horror picture show is ready to be screened on the night of halloween, just as i have on many of halloween. i'm also planning thanksgiving dinner, which i am hosting for about 6 of our friends. i'm really excited. it will be me and griffin's first holiday together. and i really can't wait for christmas. the decorations, the cookies, the tree, the gifts! even though griffin and i will be at home for the wedding at christmas, we'll be celebrating here before we leave or after we return.
and speaking of the wedding, it's getting so close. i'm getting so excited. and then jacki's wedding, and oh griffin's sister got engaged while we were home and is getting married in july! and it's been quite a season for babies. 2 within 2 weeks. two new little baby girls to the family!
on a sad note, on monday it will be the one year anniversary of my uncle jimmy passing away. i can't believe it's been a whole year. i really do miss him so much, and he is constantly in my thoughts.
the puppy is getting quite big. he's nearly 6 months now and the cat is evil as always.
i am so excited to come home. it's going to be a wonderful holiday season!

| this is going to be a very quick update, since i'm sitting in the car with griffin's parents at the coffee shop...
so his parents are here and we've been traveling around... we went driving, to leicester, cadbury world, cambridge, stonehenge, and today we're going ot peterborough and tomorrow london. we're having a really great time.
also, we got a kitten. her name is pumpkin and she's really cute, but also 100% pure evil. she's really sweet, but she's very playful and feisty, this should be interesting, as i'm not really a cat person. let's just say i have scratches all over me from spraying her with water for being bad... pictures to follow when i have longer to update.

| yes, i am going to be one of those crazy people who is obsessed with their dog. i only feel a little bad about this, because my dog is so freakin' adorable. so as long as he's a new thing, and people keep leaving comments saying how cute he is, i am going to continue to post pictures of him.
on a side note, it has not rained in here in about a week. but the sky does look rather ominous as we speak...
we're pretty much moved in. all our furniture is here and set up, we just need to bring my things down from school. this is something we have been putting off, even today, since griffin and i aren't feeling very well.
i think we're going to visit the puppy tonight, but other than that life is moving pretty slow. we're expecting griffin's parents next friday and we're preparing to come home at the end of july.
ahhh, those lazy days of summer...

| well, we finally got our ikea delivery and now we have furniture! i can't even tell you how nice it is to have a separate room for eating, watching tv, and sleeping. i haven't had that in so long! plus it's nice to ahve my own house with my own furniture, although buying the furniture wasn't especially fun!
things in england are going well. it would be nicer if we would have our internet, but i'm surviving. it's finally getting warm out! yay, i never thought it would happen!
griffin's birthday is next week, the car is good, the house is good, griffin's parents are coming out in a few weeks and then we get the puppy!
we're coming home at the end of july, and it's already getting to be a very full two weeks! i can't wait to see my girls, we're going to have a great time!
